Our friend Loren Coleman’s Portland, Maine home-office also houses the International Cryptozoology Museum. A collection of curiosities devoted to “hidden animals” and oddities related to his life’s career.

The United States Internal Revenue Service, as part of an audit, challenged Loren Coleman as to the reality of Cryptozoology as an occupation. While Loren was able to furnish proof that Cryptozoology is a real science, an IRS ruling has put the future of the International Cryptozoology Museum in jeopardy.
Loren makes his living as a Cryptozoologist, and the museum is an essential part of his overall plan. But the IRS has placed him in a position where he is struggling to keep the museum, and his life’s work alive.
