It’s Official - Georgia Bigfoot Is A Hoax
by Dean Terry
The Bigfoot in the freezer has been exposed as a fake. And the two Georgia Bigfoot hunters, along with a large sum of money, have disappeared.
Biscardi now claims he was duped
Tom Biscardi, Chief Executive Officer of Searching for Bigfoot, Inc., has revealed to the entire world, via his web site, that the Bigfoot discovery is a hoax.
The scam supposedly came to light over the weekend when the freezer, that contained the alleged Bigfoot corpse, was examined.
According to a press release, Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer, the two hunters who claimed to have found the body, were the masterminds behind the fraud.
The press release, which was written by Steve Kulls, portrays Biscardi as being a “victim” of the Bigfoot hoax, which allegedly cost him a large sum of money.
Bigfoot hunter Tom Biscardi claims to have paid an undisclosed sum to Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer, the two Georgia men who say they found the body, for their frozen corpse and the privilege of introducing them in front of TV cameras.
At the same time, Biscardi arranged for self-described Sasquatch Detective Steve Kulls to check out the body.
What Kulls discovered was hardly surprising.
In a long statement on http://www.searchingforbigfoot.com Kulls reveals what he found early Sunday morning as the body thawed out.
“I extracted some hair from the alleged corpse and examined it and had some concerns,” Kulls writes. “We burned said sample and said hair sample melted into a ball uncharacteristic of hair.”
Kulls immediately called Biscardi, who told him to use heaters to to speed up thawing.
“Within one hour we were able to see the partially exposed head,” Kulls continues. “I was able to feel that it seemed mostly firm, but unusually hollow in one small section. This was yet another ominous sign. Within the next hour of thaw, a break appeared up near the feet area. I observed the foot which looked unnatural, reached in and confirmed it was a rubber foot.”
The Biscardi team went into panic mode. Biscardi called Whitton and Dyer at their California hotel. They admitted it was a hoax and agreed to sign a promissory note at a meeting set for 8 a.m. at the hotel.
But when Biscardi got there, he “found that they had left.”
“At this time action is being instigated against the perpetrators of this fraud,” Kulls writes on Biscardi’s Web site. “On behalf of myself I can say with certainty Matthew Whitton and Ricky Dyer are not the best Bigfoot trackers in the world!”
So the real Bigfoot is still roaming merrily about the forest and, at this time, Whitton and Dyer are somewhere on the lam with Biscardi’s money.
Oh yeah, this is the kind of stuff you just can’t make up.

But the question remains, if Biscardi was truly a victim who was ripped off for an undisclosed sum of money, why didn’t he immediately notify the police?
In 2005, Biscardi claimed to have a live Bigfoot. He charged people to subscribe to an internet feed see it. But when the time came, he admitted he didn’t have the creature and claimed he had been the victim of a scam.
In August 2008 Biscardi arranges a press conference and claims he has the body of a deceased Bigfoot. But once again he can’t produce, and again claims to be the victim of a scam.
If this pattern continues, we can expect to see Biscardi being scammed again in 2011.
This leaves me wondering if Biscardi and the folks at Searching For Bigfoot aren’t also complicit in this pathetic hoax?
Why would Biscardi give the two Georgia goof-balls a large amount of money without first examining the evidence?
Why would Biscardi arrange a press conference when he wasn’t even sure of what he had?
I wouldn’t be surprised if, in the next chapter of this saga, we find Dyer and Whitton hanging out in Biscardi’s basement, drinking beer, and releasing videos announcing they’ve “found” the carcass of the Loch Ness Monster.

Jhasyne on Wednesday, August 20, 2008*sigh* so disappointing
Maureen Cato on Sunday, August 24, 2008I have been watching the news for more information about the “the bigfoot” body and it was no suprize that it was a fake and that Biscardi claims that he did not know. Anyone with one brain cell could have called that one.
But to tell you the truth all the blame is not Biscardi’S it lies on the head of the so called news men that reported on this before they had all the information maybe next time you should all find out what the true storie is before you report it.
Bob on Saturday, September 06, 2008I’m a professional big game hunter. I have smelled, heard and caught a glimpse of something I can’t explain. Biscardi is a hoax himself. He should be either placed into an institution, jailed,or both! I beleive
a species of this creature does exist. But,will dissappear as mankind
destroys all the wild domain in time.I could take Mr. Biscardi into places I’ve found over these many years and show him things that would make the yellow stuff run up his back! But, I beleive that this mystery should remain as it is. A MYSTERY And,get rich quacks like Biscardi should really have the opportunity to be dropped into the wild, alone, at a special place and meet a real “Bigfoot”.
