Teenager Finds Baby Bat In Her Pants
It was a big shock for a receptionist as she discovered a visitor in her trousers.

An Aberdeen receptionist received a shock yesterday after discovering a wild bat in her trousers while travelling to work.
Nineteen-year-old Anna Buchan, from Holburn Street, Aberdeen, was being driven to her job at SMS at Dyce by her mother when she realised something was wrong. She said, “I felt something moving in my trousers and started screaming as I thought it was a wasp that would sting me.”
It would seem that the bat, being a creature known for its poor eyesight, mistook Miss Buchan’s wardrobe for a cave and spent the night sleeping in her trousers which were hung up overnight.

A number of wild bats had been heard living inside the wall of Miss Buchan’s flat for some time, but she had never seen one until now.
She said, “I wasn’t scared of it biting me as it’s only about 2-in and has tiny little teeth.”
Once she arrived at work, she carried the bat inside in her hands and phoned the Scottish SPCA. They informed her that as it is a protected species it must be released back into the wild near wherever it was found, but not until after nightfall.
Scottish SPCA’s Doreen Graham said, “Judging by the description it was most likely a Pipistrelle bat, who are useful to have around in Scotland as one of their main food supplies is midges.”
The animal, which was affectionately named “Rat Bat” by Anna who has two pet rats of her own, was placed in a box in the office.
Frequent visits from curious SMS employees weren’t enough to wake Rat Bat, who spent the remainder of his office visit asleep upside down.
Anna said, “It’s so cute and small. I’ll be sorry to see it go.”
It was released late last night.

Lupita on Tuesday, July 15, 2008Well to me that is scary,but i think it is cool that u were close enough to a bat.I really think they are very friendly animal,but they are not at at all mean and scary to human.That is what i beleve that all animals are from god.We should do all in are powers to have them all safe from danger.

Bees are suffering colony collapse of course, with reasons as diverse as climate change and mobile telephone signals / wi-fi having been suggested as possible causes by experts.
But this sudden trend for bats to hide in human clothing is even more baffling and must rank alongside the spate of squirrel related terror attacks that happened last year.
