The Coordinated Rescue Of The Wedding Coordinator

The day I got engaged was the day my friend told me she was determined to be my wedding planner. It has been her line of work for three years now, and it has caused her to become booked and busy. Who knew there was always a couple about to marry every month? It certainly has taken a toll on my friend, and I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to have her plan for my own wedding. However, it looked as though she was more than willing to do the job once I informed her of my engagement. I couldn’t possibly turn down the offer, not when I’d been waiting forever for the day I’d get a chance to book a wedding planner in Singapore for my wedding. At that moment, I already knew that she was going to plan the perfect wedding.

Concerns

Although I quickly agreed to her request, I still had my reservations. She doesn’t often hang out with us anymore due to how demanding wedding planning in Singapore is. Some part of me worried that she offered to do this for me despite having a lot on her plate already. Weddings are entirely dependent on wedding planning. If the wedding plans aren’t organised and done on time, then there is a high probability that the big day will end in disaster or, even worse, not happen at all. What if she already had a wedding booked, and she assumed she could get it done before mine? What if she overestimated herself this time? Many things ran through my mind, but my soon-to-be husband reassured me that it was most likely not the case.

The Soon-To-Be Disaster

When we were supposed to meet to talk about catering, my friend called me and revealed that it was actually the case. I felt panic rise from within the depths of my stomach once she told me that her previous client suddenly wanted to change the wedding theme at the last minute. I wasn’t angry with her since she didn’t expect this situation to happen at all, but I was still upset. I told her I was because she made me believe she would be my wedding coordinator from Singapore. She apologised a million times over and even cried on the phone due to the guilt. I reassured her in return, knowing fully that she didn’t intend for this to happen.

The Salvaged Wedding

Despite knowing that, I still wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do now. I was no professional wedding planner, after all. When I thought all hope had been flushed down the drain, my fiancé swooped in and offered me a site with an available wedding coordinator. I kissed his face a thousand times and told him that he was truly the man of my dreams. He was my personal hero, and so was the wedding planner we booked that day, who was more than willing to get started immediately.

My friend was still able to attend my wedding once the date finally arrived. It was a magical day, and everything I dreamt about when I was younger was made into reality. I had my wedding coordinator to thank because even my friend was impressed by the work done.
