Gift credit cards are versatile and easy to use, but they are not foolproof and trouble-free. There are some sites, such as eBay, that prefer payments to be made through PayPal. While you may persuade some sellers who request PayPal to accept the gift credit card number, it is not a guaranteed thing. Transfer the funds from mastercard gift card balance to the PayPal account, and you can use them to make payments through PayPal.
Step 1
Link your bank account with your PayPal account if you have not already done so. Log in to your PayPal account and rest your mouse on the “Profile” button near the top of the page. Click “Add or edit bank account” in the drop-down menu

Fill in the bank information of the account you want to link with PayPal. PayPal will make two small deposits of less than US $ 1 in your account. When you have the account statement that describes these two amounts, log in to your PayPal account again and complete the two amounts. Your bank account will be linked to your PayPal account.

Call the bank or visit the local branch. Tell the cashier that you want to transfer the balance of a gift card to your bank account. The bank will debit the amount of the card and credit it to your bank account.
Step 4
Log in to your PayPal account after transferring the money to your bank account. Hover over the “Add funds” link at the top of the screen and click “Add funds from a bank account.” Make sure the correct bank name appears in the drop-down menu. Fill in the amount of money you want to transfer and click the “Continue” button.
Step 5
Confirm that the quantity shown on the next page is correct and then click the “Confirm” button. The money will be transferred to your PayPal account in a couple of days, depending on the speed at which the bank makes the transfer.
